This notice explains how personal data is processed when you request the Production Readiness Checklist or subscribe to Python Backend Rescue updates.

2. Data we process
We process the email address you enter, your newsletter preference and the technical records needed to securely process the request. We do not use this form for profiling or automated decisions.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Checklist delivery: to provide the resource you requested. The legal basis is your request and consent when submitting the form. The checklist is delivered as a direct download and the address is not retained for this purpose alone.
- Optional updates: to send occasional engineering notes, manual updates and launch information. The legal basis is your specific consent through the optional checkbox.
4. Recipients and international transfers
When you opt in to updates, we use Resend, Inc. as our contact-management and email provider. Resend acts as a processor and processes customer data in the United States. Selecting an EU sending region does not move stored account data to the European Union.
Transfers to the United States are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, incorporated into Resend's Data Processing Addendum, and additionally by Resend's participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Resend may use the subprocessors listed in its current subprocessors notice.

Our website is hosted by Vercel, Inc., which may process technical request, security and deployment logs as our hosting provider. Where this processing involves an international transfer, it is governed by Vercel's Data Processing Addendum and the transfer safeguards described there.

5. Retention
Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you withdraw consent or request deletion. We may retain the minimum information necessary to record an unsubscribe request and comply with legal obligations. Resend's own service records are retained according to its applicable plan and contractual retention periods.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact jmmangas@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
7. Required and optional information
An email address is required to complete the checklist request. Consent to receive future communications is optional. Refusing optional consent does not prevent you from downloading the checklist.
8. Changes
This notice may be updated when the service, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will always appear on this page.
