Cookies and similar technologies

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Python Backend Rescue currently does not use advertising cookies, profiling cookies or third-party marketing pixels.

What is used today

  • Vercel Web Analytics: privacy-focused, aggregated measurement that does not use cookies. Vercel identifies visitors using a short-lived, daily-reset hash rather than a persistent cookie.
  • Funnel events: the site sends limited events such as article opens or checklist requests to our own endpoint. These events contain no email address, form contents or persistent visitor identifier.
  • Resend: email addresses are sent to Resend only when you submit a resource or newsletter form. This is form processing, not a browser cookie.

No consent banner at present

Because the current site does not place non-essential cookies on your device, there is no cookie-consent banner to accept or reject. The optional newsletter consent is separate and is requested directly in the relevant form.

If this changes

If we add advertising, behavioural measurement, social pixels, embedded media that sets cookies or another technology that requires consent, this page will be updated and a consent mechanism will be shown before that technology loads.
